Treat yourself to the irresistible aroma of baked apples and cinnamon that perfectly captures the autumn atmosphere. This fitness apple crumble will warm you up nicely and, combined with Greek yogurt, will provide the necessary protein.
For the base, you will need:
- 700 g peeled apples
- 30 g cane sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground cloves
For the Topping, We’ll Need:
- 100 g fine oats
- 70 g butter
- 70 g walnuts
- 50 g cane sugar
- 50 g whole grain spelt flour
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
For serving we will need:
- 600 g Greek yogurt with 0% fat

Instructions:
Cut the peeled apples into cubes and mix them with sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves and lemon juice. Transfer the apples to a baking dish and start preparing the topping. Mix oats with sugar, flour, cinnamon and roughly chopped walnuts. Add cold butter cut into slices and work with your fingers into a crumble.

Cover the apples with this mixture and bake until golden at 180°C for approximately 30-40 minutes. The crumble can be served hot with Greek yogurt.
